Wearing
Put jewelry on after perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried, and take it off before swimming, showering or sleeping. Chlorine, salt water and cosmetics are the three things that age gold plating fastest.
Storing
Keep each piece in its pouch, away from direct sunlight. Chains are best laid flat or hung; storing two chains together is how most tangles and scratches happen.
Cleaning
Wipe enamel and stone with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, alcohol or polishing compounds on enamel, and do not soak a piece with a cord or silk element. A jeweller can re-polish gold settings once a year if you would like the original brightness back.
Repairs
If a clasp, link or setting needs attention, write to us with a photograph. Repairs within the first year are free; after that we quote before starting.
